The tuition industry in Singapore is playing an increasingly vital role in the education system, and with burgeoning growth there is a need to contemplate the manner in which it will develop in the future. This is why I feel this is a most appropriate time to set up an association for tutors to connect, cooperate and collaborate with each other.
As tutors, we face various challenges but we can also look forward to great opportunities. We should build common ground and work together as part of a collective cohort. I also believe that there is greater strength in unity, and as a formal association we can be a strong and credible voice the industry.
